I’m glad I purchased these. They have silicone around the seams. It helps the stay up well. Very comfortable as well.Bought the xxs for my size 8/10 competitive gymnast to wear under her leotard. Love that the brown matched her skin tone!Love the material, it's soft and extremely stretchy.These really irritate my skin and dig in uncomfortably around the leg after a few hours.Did not like the plastic bonding on the seams because it will eventually fall apart in the wash. They are too thin/shiny/slippery for me as well. I was hoping these would be a good dupe for the Chantelle SoftStretch panties I like because the fabric compositions are similar, however this feels more synthetic whereas the SoftStretch are light and smooth with a matte finish.from Ben's wife--the material on these is great. They are soft and smooth. They also have something along the seams that makes them stay in place instead of creeping up (maybe something like silicone, it's a thin strip along the seams that makes them grippy). They do seem a touch small--so if you are on the bubble, size up!I discovered Amazon underwear a while back. Their bikinis have a standard fit, reliable construction, and a decent price point - basic, no frills. They have now expanded the fabric options, these are a Polyimide/Elastane mix - Amazon Essentials Bikini Briefs. The material is very smooth, very thin and sits flat against my skin. They work great with summer wear and dri-fit outer fabrics. Panty lines are at a minimum. They have no tags, just an imprint.The color option I ordered was Dusted Pearl. I was aiming for a tanned summer-based hue with the beige. What arrived is now labeled Dark Taupe and the beige in person is much darker than the product pics. (They photograph light). No surprises on fit.** Interesting Note: I also ordered the Amazon Essentials Hipster - same size, same material - but the fit is noticeably different. These run small, the hipsters run big. Both are doable, but for comfort and panty lines, a loose fit works better. Maybe it’s the hipster design with this fabric, or the loose fit with this fabric, but I prefer the Amazon Hipster over the Amazon Bikini.I recently ordered Amazon Essentials All Way Stretch Hipsters and these Amazon Essentials Women’s Bikini Briefs are practically the same, with a few notable improvements and one caution about sizing.Both sets of underwear are insanely comfortable - they are thin and silky and you forget that you have them on. The material is almost the same but slightly different: these bikinis are 78% polyamide (nylon), 22% elastane (spandex/lyrcra) while the all way stretch underwear are 76% polyamide, 24% elastane.One big difference between the two is that the all way stretch ones have a huge booklet of tags sewn into the back (and if you cut I out, the little bits that remain itch and scratch), while these have screened on tags (hallelujah!!). The other improvement that is great about these is that they have a silicone band around the leg and top openings, so they stay in place. You can’t feel the bands - they don’t get hot, sticking, or annoying in any way.The one thing I will say is that these do seem to run a little small, so if you are between sizes, I would advise that you size up.These are machine wash warm water with like color and you are supposed to air dry them (but I haven’t had any trouble with the dryer).These have a high cut to the legs as bikinis do. They don’t show under clothes much and they don’t slide around or bunch up. The underwear are semi-sheer. As with the All Way Stretch model, I wish that the cotton liner was sewn up a little higher in the front.I really like these underwear and will definitely order them again in the future since they are so comfortable.The fabric. Is nice and they look really nice but I was sent smaller size then I wanted. Went to place where I should easily return it but places didn’t have Amazon boxes and can’t tell me when they will have it.
