I got this nightshirt in light pink to start, and liked it so well I ordered one in beige. I give the pink one 5 stars, but the beige one is the ugliest color - so 4 stars for the entire review. I got the size I expected to get, and it fits perfectly, but for the second one ordered up a size just for even more comfort. Overall, this is a wonderful product - don't hesitate...just that the beige color is ugly. After 20 years with the Amazon and nearly a decade with Prime I'm starting to really appreciate the amazonbasics line. Cookware, household gadgets, and now clothing.Other reviews mention that the buttons come undone, this is actually true. I went ahead and took a chance because the color that I prefer just happened to be, due the laws of supply and demand I suppose, available at the lowest rate of $11. After a few minutes of wearing, the top button did become undone. Per the reviews, I had anticipated this and knew that a single stitch of thread would help tighten the gap and secure the top button. I'm assuming if the top button stays close the others will follow suit! The material is upple and soft for the price of this item, the piping shows no extra threads or missed stitches. As for the design the only thing I would honestly change would be this... if ordering an 1X (I wear a large but I prefer my nightshirts loose-fitting) one would assume that the female bootay might be a little .. shall we say... bodacious. Therefore perhaps a little bit more fabric in the back. It covers the booty but is not hi-low.It never ceases to amaze me how designers forget to maybe add a little bit more curve if the size is larger.. However I have not flashed anyone and I'm still happy with the purchase. So much so, that I found the full pajama sets from AmazonEssentials also at a good rate for two-piece pajamas and have ordered two sets. I love the way avoiding all fast-fashion marketing can keep a price low and yet the quality good. Thank you amazonbasics!Got for during pregnancy and postpartum. Been great for pregnancy, very soft with good stretch! Its very soft and comfortabeSuper comfy pajamas. Bought to wear at the hospital when I deliver baby #2 but I’m already living in the one I bought and thinking maybe I need some more. I don’t think it’s sheer, it’s not super thick so I don’t get hot either. It is RARE that I write reviews, and I realize that I should. BUT when I saw this nightshirt, I ordered it immediately! And now that I've rec'd it, I am HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!! Vera Wang used to have plain white nightshirts many years ago and I ordered 47 of them! Why, because they are simple and beautiful and ADULT! I have of course worn out all 47 and since then I have tried to find a plain nightshirt. Look at women's sleepwear... I do not want butterflies, dragon flies, or sayings on my sleepwear. Let me be a grown up woman, with a nice and simple nightshirt. Google "white nightshirts" and see what you find....NOTHING! Then one day, this nightshirt popped up on Amazon and I thought it wasn't real. But they are beautiful, they are soft, they make me feel like a normal woman. Period! I am a very young 60 years old and the fact that I have found these, I will be ordering more and more. AND for those who complained that the hole for the button was too big and the buttons kept popping out, I am sorry, but I was willing to take the chance and IF I had that problem I would sew the button hole smaller and solve that problem easily. Thank you Amazon Essentials... I am one happy customer!!!I loved everything about this night gown, it’s light comfy and soft. I was nervous to wash it but fabric was still soft and still have the perfect stretch.I had been wanting a sleep shirt like this for a while and had my eye on several much more expensive versions, but I figured I’d give this a try first. The material is incredibly soft and comfortable, although extremely thin. It’s lightweight enough to wear in warmer months because of this, but unfortunately is much less flattering. I’m a size 4 and always wear a small, but the small was pretty fitted on me. I decided it wasn’t worth an exchange and still can wear it but it’s just a good bit more snug than I was expecting. I’d say definitely size up. Combine the size issue with the thin nature of the fabric and it looks a bit cheap- I know it’s sleepwear but it absolutely shows every panty line and clings where you wish it didn’t. I’ll buy more of these, just in the next size up!Although soft and comfortable to wear felt the quality could have been betterI’m a size UK 18/20 and currently 8 months pregnant, been looking for a nighty for the hospital that’s a nice material and long enough for me and this is absolutely perfect! I never ever leave reviews but the quality of this feels amazing, super soft and the perfect thickness! Was reluctant to spend £15 on it but I’m so glad I did!Button holes were far too stretched when the item arrived. The top button keeps popping open though I have ordered one size bigger as I intend to use it for breast feeding and wanted comfy fit. Hence not too fussed but would have ideally preferred them staying close!Big fitted sizesBasically, after wearing it for 3 weeks, one button dropped, and I could not wear it any more. The other buttons are still there, but easily get unbuttoned on the pajama.
