Good pants for women hikers who are a bit short and round. I’m sorry to say that the hiking industry does not support women who aren’t tall and slender, unless you want to wear stretch/yoga pants which is crazy in rough or buggy terrain. Men’s sizing is much more flexible than women’s sizing. I like durable hiking pants with pockets, so I’ve been wearing men’s fishing pants for years. These are a bit different, but have deep pockets and work well enough. They shake the dust out, dry fairly quickly and look decent enough for post-hiking meals out. The full color line is not available in my size, which is disappointing, but the price is right. UPDATE: I took two pairs on a week-long hike and they held up well. Buckle the belt and zip when washing, no issues with stretching belt or damage to buckle. The charcoal pair are a nice shade. I had to cinch the ankles to keep out kicked-up dust and they stayed cinched all day. Great pockets, deep but not tight even with phone etc in them.
