I was looking to replace a pair purchased from a big box store that were worn once and after one fall have an inch long rip in the knee. Considering the brand, I was expecting something adequate but not much more so I was pleasantly surprised that these are much better quality than what you will find in stores other than sporting goods retailers. The exterior fabric is thicker. They are well insulated and warm. The problem is finding the right size. I don't know in what world Amazon thinks that a ten year old child weighing 90 pounds will need the same size as a fifteen year old of the same weight. So for those who want actual measurements, I ordered size XL. The waist size was correct as stated at 26. The inseam is 24.25 inches, and they are 35.5 inches long outside measurement from waist to bottom. The XL was too small for someone weighing 85 pounds with a slim build. There is no way they would fit up to 95 pounds as the sizing chart states, especially not someone with an average to stocky build. Overall a good buy for the price if you can find the right size.
