I’ve ordered several pairs of Amazon Essentials jeans. I needed all-new clothes after significant (mostly intentional) weight loss, and Amazon has made this affordable for me. I started with the cool Amazon option of trying before buying, and that went well, so now I order Amazon clothing brands with confidence. The sizes are consistent from item to item, so once you know your size, you can order and be quite sure the piece will work out. They are indeed dye-heavy, and Amazon appropriately advises to wash before wearing. I do find that dye will run for the first few washes, so be sure to keep like colors together when laundering these with other items (I learned the hard way, ha ha). I wash these in cold water and dry them on low heat to prevent wrinkles, and I’ve had no shrinkage issues with any Amazon clothing. I have a short inseam for my height, as much of my height is in my long torso. I’m thrilled Amazon has options for so many body types. If it helps, I’m 5’11,” weigh 140-145 lbs., and my waist is 29-30”. These have a nice fit and still have a little room for comfort at the waist. I get compliments on my simple but fitted clothing.Since these jeans have a bit of spandex in them, I thought they’d be stretchy. They are not, they are nice quality denim. What’s great about these jeans is they are offered in all kinds of sizes that are hard to find, if not impossible to find locally. Since Amazon had my actual size I didn’t need the stretchy fabric to compensate for something that wasn’t gonna be quite my size. Very pleased. Would buy again.I was skeptical since they are an off brand, but for such a great price I wanted my husband to try them out. They came in and I was very impressed with the high quality… and then he put them on. Then I was really impressed! These are the best fitting jeans he owns now! Will definitely be buying him more.Length and waist size fits perfect. they look great and feel great. However, the biggest gripe is the waist line. The belt loops are too spaced out and the waist sits really low so the pants don’t feel secured with a belt on.Found these since jeans are getting expensive and all I will say is I will get more. Especially if you are a strange size. Feels good doesn't look cheap. Im on short side so being able to find a pair without getting them hemmed big help. Feels good even after washing no color fade. The jeans fit fine, it was they way I received them. Left at my front door which is fine, but they were in a clear plastic bag and when I picked them up the pants slid out of the end of the bag. Not very secure packaging.Great looks and fit. However, some designer attention needed to work on zipper-fly.Good jeans. I like that there's no visible label and they fit well. The front pockets aren't as deep as Levis though and my phone just barely fits.Unos pantalones fantásticos y a buen precio. The main problem with these jeans is that they are not stretch jeans although they are described as stretch in the selling description !!!!!! So they fit around the waist (just !!) but are a bit loose everywhere else !! Compared to the wranglers I normally wear they are a disappointment----I should have remembered -you get what you pay for -unfortunately I was unable to find the size I wanted listed > I suggest you change your description to non-stretch to save annoying people like me in the future!!!!!!Certainly will not purchase these again !!ain problem is that these jeans were sold described as stretchI've had these jeans for around a year now and have the following thoughts.PRO: The jeans are very sturdy, whereas my jeans usually rip in the thigh these have not (even with regular walking in lockdown) [ripped in under 12 months: Levis 511; Diesel Zephyr]PRO: I think they're still comfortable and a good fit IMOCON: on my black jeans the fade on the dye is like a visible orange/brown which looks like I've spilt bleach down myself - this is not very appealing and ultimately not suited for pairing with smarter items. I'd rather pay a little more and have something which ages more elegantly. If you don't plan on wearing them as a dress jean then I would strongly recommend them, however if you're buying the black jeans to pair with smarter items it's not really fit for purpose after maybe 6 months (even with cold washes). I have moved onto Uniqlo black jeans to see how they perform.I was not expecting these jeans to be particularly good, after I’d read so many negative reviews of them, but I bought them anyway because they are inexpensive and I just wanted a pair of jeans that I could wear for everyday/casual use.I was very surprised when I received the delivery of the jeans. They waist measurement I ordered is exactly as promised, and the jeans are extremely comfortable and good quality. Some reviewers have mentioned that the jeans have a bad smell, and/or that the colour ‘bleeds’ out of them and onto other clothes, and even onto the skin. I have not experienced any of those problems, and I am very pleased with these jeans. However, they are not ‘stretch fit’ (as described by the manufacturer), they are ‘regular’ material; and they aren’t ‘slim fit’ either, they are regular fit in the leg measurement.I’m fine with all that, and I’m extremely pleased with the jeans, but if you are looking for a pair of stretch jeans (and slim fit ones), you will be disappointed. But if you want a pair of good quality, everyday wear, jeans…then you will be happy buying these. So what is good about these? They do come in a wide range of sizes and colours and the price is great. The fit is spot on the stated size. The fabric is very slightly stretchy so they keep their shape well during wearing.But. There are some not so good bits. The rear pockets are large so it does spoil the way they sit on me a bit but the most important aspect is that the fabric is lightweight -they certainly don't compare to the heavy well known bands. That said, they are much cheaper and are fine for general wear - just don't expect to impress the fashionistas on your Friday night out
